What is CAPTCHA Text ?

 
 Its a test for humans when signin the form or requesting some resources in internet. First captcha
text was developed and used in ALTAVISTA site. Its a way to filter out the automated programmes
which tries to misuse the resource.
 
You will notice the captcha image at the bottom of the comment form.  You need to type in what is displayed in the image in order for the comment to post.
 Its a program that can generate and grade tests that most humans can pass, but current computer
programs can’t pass.   It is like typing the text from jumbled image having text in it. Hope many of us know about the sliding image having text in it when we sign up the forms….exactly the same one. BUT with name
"CAPTCHA text"

  2. mahesh – your space was interesting to read. I was just going through the one you wrote on google website. Well you being a s.engineer might find it easy to follow. what about geeks like me who\’s knowledge of computors can be laughed away. How do I post my own wbsite? I though one need to know comp lang to knoe one. After you have finished laughing, do help me.
